What is the ACCDO?
A CAUSE BASED CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
American College of Clinical Documentation Outcomes, Inc., is a California based, national nonprofit public benefit corporation organized for charitable purposes. Specifically, the foundation is organized to promote the meaningful utilization of licensed Certified Medical Scribe Specialist (CMSS™) Certified Electronic Health Record Technology to achieve greater outcomes in integrative medicine, functional medicine, prevention, and CURES.
Kristin Hagen is the founder, President, CEO, and Ex Officio of the American College of Clinical Documentation Outcomes, Inc. The organization was founded in 2017 and focuses on finding and implementing cures. Through the American College of Clinical Documentation Outcomes, Inc., and the American College of Medical Scribe Specialists, clinicians, people, and practices have the tools, resources, and licensed skillful educated personnel to implement the cause for the cures.
ACCDO funded scholarships support the continued growth of the field in cutting-edge, evidence-based functional medicine. Those aspiring to work in the field, including medical students, graduate residents, pre-meds, and allied health clinicians may apply for a scholarship.
ACCDO creates pathways of 21st-century education for aspiring licensed Certified Medical Scribe Specialists (CMSS™) to transform and clinically drive the educational superhighway into evidence-based care to cures. Individuals are empowered through purpose-driven, mission-driven opportunities to assist individuals and organizations through interactive learning in playing a role in shaping our nation's 21st-century healthcare system. ACCDO will create scientific and educational materials through federal, state, and/or community-funded research grants.
ACCDO is committed to raising awareness of the need for meaningful use clinical documentation and clinical care. Enabled through licensed Certified Medical Scribe Specialists (CMSS™), creating wellness-driven care and models through the uptake and adoption of the CMSS™ credential; ACCDO advocates for 21st-century care to CURES, wellness, preventive care, precision medicine activities, and our nation's airbag survivors, among others.
